We started to keep goats in 2012, with two six week old French Alpine kids.
Maisie is brown with a black stripe down her back and Tilly is black and white.
Here is John with Tilly at four weeks old.
Baby goats are quite irresistible especially when they are young.
And here she is again.
Tilly has grown up to be the most mischievous of the two Alpines!
This is Maisie at the same age.
Here's Tilly, all grown up!
And Maisie too.
This Spring both Tilly and Maisie had twins. A boy and a girl.
Here are Maisies babies. the girl is at the back.
Outside for the first time.
Everything is a great adventure!
The following three photos are of the babies, taken by our French students!
The middle one is about to eat Edgars shirt!!
Tilly's babies were born two weeks later, also a boy and a girl.
Here is Gertie, our newest baby.
She is a 6 month old British Saanan.
Here are John and Jean showing off their hay rack. Magnifique!!
Here she is again. She is a very gentle goatling and a great addition to the family.
Jean fills it up with hay.
Jean teaching the goats how to use their new feeding station!
They seem to have got the message, Jean. Well done! Another life saved!!
