Our cats are primarily mousers and keep the farm free of pests. They do an excellent job and sometimes hunt in a group. At the moment we have three black and white cats, all of which were rescued. Dennis, the eldest of the three was found by friends in a plastic bag, thrown out by the side of the road, while Minnie the Minx and Smiffy were found by our French teacher in a rubbish skip.

This is Smiffy, just a week after his arrival. He and Minnie still had their eyes closed and needed to be bottle fed. They were both reared on ewes milk.

Here is the newest addition to our family. Charlie and Linda kindly offered her to us and we were very happy to have her. She had never seen dogs before, but she soon told them who was boss.
